“ Freedom is nothing else but a chance to be better”

4th of July is one of my favorite days and celebrations! It is special because it reminds me what is all about Freedom, what’s all about Families and Unity. It reminds that Freedom is no given, it is won.
On the July 6th, I was invited to be part of the Independence Day party organized by the American-Romanian Chamber of Commerce from Bucharest, Romania http://www.amcham.ro/
I had the a great time!!! This is why I need to express my thankfulness to Mrs. Anca Harasim, Mrs. Mihaela Gusu, Ms. Andreea Ologeanu and the rest of the team who organized this cool party. Thank You for all Your work. Thank You for the invitation to join You for this special Celebration.
Why was it great? Great planning, lots of security, very nice 4th of July decorations, lots of food, drinks and deserts, face painting (***Check the picture from above. I had an American flag painted on my face J Also there were games for all ages. The music was provided by Juke Box band so we all got to rock’n’roll and enjoy some good old American music.
The surprise of the party was the visit of the US Ambassador in Romania, Mr. Nicolas Taubman http://bucharest.usembassy.gov/ He had a short speech and was warmly greeted by the participants at the celebration.
In the second part, everyone could participate at drawing. The main prizes were a trip for 2 to Amsterdam by KLM, a trip for 2 to Paris by Air France. Also there were few nice cell phones, special wine selection by Vincon Vrancea
mobile bars, cosmetics by Oriflame.
At the end we all could watch a breathtaking fireworks show. It lasted about 30 minutes and it was just amazing!
I really enjoyed the relaxed, cool, refreshing, educational, exciting and friendly atmosphere at this special event. It was an atmosphere similar to great American Spirit.
The USA and American people played an important role in my life. I will always treasure those moments and great people born in the Land of the Free and Home of the Braves.
God Bless America!
Happy 4th of July!
