Proud of my mother

"Mother love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible..." Marion C. Garretty

Today I will write about my mother. I am so proud of her. How would I describe her? A mother, a wife, a friend, a sister, a colleague, a teacher, a Principal, a boss, an encourager, a fighter, a warrior… All in one name: Virginia.

She started learning to play violin when she was 7 years old. In time, music becomes her life. Even before graduating from Musical Academy, she was already playing in the National Symphony Orchestra and had solo-us at the Opera. Her strong personality, great ambition and excellent work ethic were her keys to success. She is the Principal of a Music School for almost 30 years. Her team is formed of 26 teachers and also 280 students are under her guidance.

2 years ago she received from the President himself the highest award given for accomplishments, success and dedication. My mother is an example to me. She taught me lots of things that already are so beneficial to me. One of the many things I admired her for is her modesty. Even she could and had all the reasons to be arrogant, she is not. She is friendly, open and simple.

She makes no compromises. None. Watching her since I was I kid I realized that it’s not easy to be incorruptible but it’s possible and worthy. I love my mother because she is strong, ambitious, incorruptible, hard working, courageous and invincible. I love her because she is MY mother. I am proud of her and I thank God for her.
By the way, I love walking on the hallways of her school. Students and teachers point at me saying: “…He is the Principal’s son…” and I’ll admit that I like it. It’s good to be famous! Ha! :)
Your mother is special too. Love her and make sure she knows that.
