About my trip to Bruxelles

"The EU Constitution is the birth certificate of the United States of Europe. The Constitution is not the end point of integration, but the framework for - as it says in the preamble - an ever closer union" Hans Bury

Well, I made to it to the European Parliament. It was a visit but it was good one and I enjoyed every second of it. Here are few personal observations:
-The EU Parliament has a very modern building but has no extra luxury. There is a different concept on "using people's $" comparing to exCommunist countries;
-Lot's of transparency as the priciple "made for the people of Europe" is a valid one;
-It's just a cool place, friendly and impressive;
-A Coca-Cola at a vending machine is only 0,60 Euro cents (the cheapest one I found in the entire Belgium!);
-The info on the reason of the trip and other personal details I prefer to keep it private...

Back from Belgium

“We must not only give what we have; we must also give what we are.”
Desire-Joseph Mercier (Belgian cardinal and educator 1851-1926)

Few hourse ago I just landed on Baneasa Aeroport Bucharest. Yep, got back from the European Capital---Brussel. Had few extraodinary days with sunshine and incredible experiences. Also realized that Brussel is not only the "cabage town", not only the chocolate heaven(Yummmmmmmmy!!!!!), not only the place to eat mussels, oisters, prawn crevetes, and special french fries a.k.a. chip stalls, pralines, not only the place of Atomium and Manneken Pis but it is........

More to come soon!

Getting ready for Brussels, Belgium

"The European Union is a state under construction..." Elmar Brock

Surely You are aware that the European Parliament has its headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. Brussels is considered the de facto capital of the European Union (EU), and hosts many of its key institutions. NATO, the Western European Union and EUROCONTROL are also headquartered in the city.

That's my next destination in the coming week. For 3 days I'll be visiting the heart of EU with other 9 Romanian young people.I'll be leaving on Tuesday, April the 5th. It's an official trip, not a private vacation, so I am looking forward to it. Some very important people arranged this visit to the European Parliament for our group and I am glad to be part of it.

Oh, Belgium it's gonna be the 16th country I'm visiting. Never been there before but ready to hit the road.

I'll stop here with info on this trip but there is more to come.

So, keep your eyes on.

Vivat the EU!
