Mr.Body Language in Romania

" Think about WHAT You want to acomplish, not HOW. The most important is to set a GOAL and go for it..."

Mr. Allan Pease a.k.a. Mr.Body Language

Today I was one of the few privilleged people to attend a training with Mr. Allan Pease http://www.allan-pease.ro/ organized by HCS Human Capital Solutions http://www.hcs.com.ro/

Basically I was part of the event planning team. It was a great day! Thank You, Mrs. Camelia Levintza, Madalina and Mihaela. You all are an amaizing team! Well done!

Few thoughts on today:

-Woman can't read maps and men can't lie to women. It's the way we are made( ***If You are a man and are planning to lie to a woman, call her:)

-When dealing with men, give them one problem at a time. They have a monotracking brain. They can only speak OR listen. Never both in the same time.

-When men talk, they take turns. They talk to comunicate facts and info,

-Women take no turns. They talk to bond not to comunicate facts or info.

-Men have problem solving brain. If we don't have a problem, we don't talk.

-A man uses about 8.000-9.000 words/ day. Women uses 20.000-24.000 words/day. Do You feel a difference? Ha!

-Every men needs 30 min of "firegazing" (rest, silences) every evening. This is why men watch TV, read magazines. It helps us to rest.

-Men have a direct talk but women developed an indirect talking code.

-World's 5th most recognizable icon is a ... smiley face :)

-Those who smile, make more friends.

-Don't touch Your face when talking IF You want people to believe You.

-If people "buy" You, they will buy what You sell them. If they will like You, they will buy what You sell.

-Business and life is all about relationships.

-Whatever You choose to think about, it will happen to You.

These are just few lines on all the good thoughts I got today from Mr.Allan Pease.

It was an amaizing day with lots of fun, new friends and lessons. This high end event at the Parliament's Palace of Bucharest was succesfull also because of the assistance of special hostesses which were hired(***I'll admit: verrrrry pretty Ladies), profesional light and sound companies, catering.

You can find out more in Mr.Body Language's books on http://www.amazon.com/ or at Curtea Veche publisher http://www.curteaveche.ro/

Life is good!

Smile :)

Romanian visa

"Freedom is the last, best hope of earth..."

Abraham Lincoln

On January 1st, 2007 Romania joined European Union. So, most of the non EU countries need to get a visa in order to enter Romania. One of them is Republic of Moldova, which is an independent country but use to be part of Romania....

For almost 2 weeks (!!!!!!!!!!) I have been trying on line to make a reservation for somebody from Rep. Moldova at the Romanian Embassy in Chisinau. This friend of mine is coming to Romania with business purpose and can't enter without a Romanian visa.

The registration can be done only on-line, only up to 7 days ahead, only for 200 people per day.

To keep it short I'll tell You the following:

- All the list is booked at 00,05 am

- In less then 5 minutes all the places are taken

- The site is one of the worst I have seen , gives lots of errors, slow, non user friendly, stupid...Click here and then click 'programare vize'

- Apparently at the Romanian Embassy in Chisinau there is an entire business to give visa to Republicans. People of the Embassy make a lot of money on that. How? I will let you figure it out ;)

- For almost 2 weeks, every night at midnight I was ready to fill in the on-line form. First came, first served.

-Yesterday, I was done in less than 1 minute (my best record:) and got to be number 124 out of 200.
- I was so happy about my achievement! I was so happy I didn't gave up and my ambition had a good result! Finally, I did it!

Sometimes we don't realise, don't treasure or don't understand the Freedom we have. We have the Freedom to move, to live, to express, to decide, to enjoy life...Always keep in mind that Freedom has a price. Freedom is NOT Free.

I am so thankful for it.

Almost tired of Communism

"Communism is not love. Communism is a hammer which we use to crush the enemy"

Mao Tse-Tung, 1893 - 1976.

As I was mentioning couple days ago, on 3rd of June, 2007, the citizens of Republic of Moldova voted for their local leaders. Few things to notice:

-The Communist party is still in the top with 30,8% BUT less people voted for them then at previous elections

- The other political parties are gaining power and are becoming a threat for the Communists

(the main 2 are Molodva Noastra Alliance and Democratic Party)

-In 2 weeks will be the second round of elections when the final decisions will be made

-Personally I anticipate a coalition between smaller parties against Communist and as I result the Communist will loose their majority in local administration.

It looks like Moldova is tired of Communism. Go Republicans!!!! Vote for a change!!!

There is still hope. It's the Hope.

Elections in Rep.Moldova

"No man is good enough to govern another man without that other's consent"

Abraham Lincoln

Today, Republic of Moldova will choose its local leaders a.k.a. mayors and councilors. The total number of people who can go vote is 2,44 mln. The largest number of candidates who will run for a mayor's job is in Chisinau, the capital. We are talking about 17 different people who really want to become the Mayor of Chisinau. Today, the Republic will choose 898 mayors and 12.000 councilors in all it's locations all over country.

The cost of this elections is=13,74 mln Moldavian Lei (fyi 1 $=13 Moldavian lei) and Communist Party spend the most on money on it. At the moment they are the majority in local and Governmental administration.

Even in Republic of Moldova, politics stinks. I saw a mixed campaign where smart political tricks walked together with cheap and dirty actions. It's wild. Everybody is aware of it but people can't really change much.

Comments like "They all promise and give stuff only before elections" "The Mayor suddenly started walking on the streets and greet people" "They have not fixed even one road in 4 years but started now" are very common.

It's sad to see how a small beautiful country with hardworking and smart people crawls under the curse of disadvantage of old influences and connection.

Today the Republic will vote!

There is still hope. There is still light. There is still a Way. It's The Way.
